It is absolutely aggravating that people on ESmay feel the need to rip people off with shipping. I am looking for a baby blanket and the prices look nice, then I see shipping for $8, $9, $10 and I want to knock these people in the head. I know you're hurting right now. We're hurting right now, that is why I am looking for USED items on the internet, but seriously c'mon. I Esmay too. But I guess I am crazy because I charge what it actually costs to ship. I've even been screwed by charging too little, but I eat it up, because I am nice.
Anyway enough whining. I'm tired. Again. Still. Always.
Oh and I went to see The Changeling with my sister and aunt the other night and while yes it is a beautiful movie, acted and directed. It captured my attention and was indeed an awesome movie. It was also awful. I sobbed the whole way through and was sick to my stomach by this true story. This is the second movie in a row that I have seen and coincidentally it was also with my sister and aunt and my sister also choose that other movie "Secret Life of Bees" that left me looking like I had just attended a wake. So no more movie picking for you Jenn! I need a break. Something light, something airy. Maybe like the one I suggested The make a porno movie. That was so much more my alley lately. Leave those heavy ones for you none hormonal girls.

Mr. Sandman...
Hey Mr. Sandman..... I'm calling to you again. Please come. I don't even care if you bring me a dream, just please hit me over the head and knock me out. Please.
Andi has a bad cough and as we parents (mothers) know that makes sleeping thru the night difficult for little ones and the last two nights the little weasel snuck in our bed and before I realized she was there I was smooched into Andrew and a dog that is not supposed to be on my bed, making a mess of it!
Every time she jumps up I yell get down and she does, but then she tries again and I swear she waits to hear me deep breathing and then jumps on my bed with her nasty butt. And how am I going to put a diaper on a dog that you can't touch with out her going insane. She is the most hyper thing in the world. And if I were able to hold her still long enough she would just run around until it fell off and eat it because that is the kind of dog she is. I am still contemplating craigslist for her future.
So anyway it is around 2 am and I realize Andi is in our bed, putting me in the middle. I have a growing belly that makes positioning hard enough then smooch me between to bed hogs and then realize bloody dog is curled into my legs. UGH! Frustration takes over and after tossing and turning I retire to the couch. Everyone else sleeps peacefully.
I want to hurt someone.
Forgive the sucky blog.... I'm tired.
Happy freaking weekend. I will try to get some work done and post some before and afters. I have a lot to do!

Frogger
So I am overly cautious when I cross the street. Even at a cross walk. I mean, scratch that even. Always when I cross the street I am in a cross walk. I can only imagine getting hit by a car hurts. Very badly. I don't like to have any sort of pain. Any. So I don't take chances.
And if I have my kids with me I almost have a panic attack just thinking about crossing a busy street. Me hit by a car will hurt. Probably survivable. My kids hit by a car. Not so good. The thought tightens up my throat and forget about what it does to my stomach.
Why all this nonsense Kim? Why this talk?
I live in a neighborhood with all middle class people. Mostly people who think like me, getting hit by a car is not something we want to experience.
I however work in a less than neighborhood. I am not judging. I am stating a fact. Most the people who live her, lets just say without saying names, live her illegally. They seem to think getting hit by a car is not such a scary thing. Maybe they think the added affect of a stroller, because there is always a stroller, is more of a reason for people to stop? I don't know. I just know that a lady pushing a woman in a wheelchair, holding a 2 year old all almost got killed today. They stopped traffic, a very busy road. Just going in the middle of traffic. I can't tell you just how much it infuriates me. I have, with my own eyes, see a dude, on this same road get hit by a car while on a bike. He flew in the air and landed on 120 degree turf. No cross walk. I see this daily, a woman crossing with kids, in the middle of a busy road, with no cross walk.
You know then the unthinkable happens and there is a news story with people holding candles and crying b/c a toddler is killed, by being hit by a car. What do they think will happen?
Sorry this just really pissed me off today.... and I had planned to blog about Andrew and my trip to Ikea, we almost killed each other. I will save it for another day.

Spring Break? For Who?
So with this whole Spring "Break" I am wondering who gets one? Lily is on a modified year round schedule meaning 9 weeks on 2 weeks off. Then 6 weeks off for summer.
Granted yes, not having to find help the entire summer is wonderful, but these breaks are tough.
Don't mind me, usually breaks aren't that bad, but Andi has been sick, sick, sick. And due to the break I scheduled all Lily's appointments while she was on break, so we are just over loaded.
I don't know how I would have managed with out MIL here for a long weekend so I am grateful that Andi has been able to stay home and rest while Lily and I have been running. Today Lily's nurse will be here for 8 hours and I will finally go to work. But Andi, although on the mend still has a 100 degree fever and I can't send her to daycare. Ped will want a chest x-ray since she has had a fever almost a week now, but I know she is getting better and does not have pneumonia.
I have to take her to work with me. Sigh. Work with Andi is a oxy-moron.
Yesterday Lily and I were at the hospital for over 6 hours for this damn study. She had to fast and have her blood drawn and an ECG at 10:30am. It was ten to 11am by the time that was done. Then [insert background] MOM! I JUST THREWED UP AGAIN, clean that up, back to finish my story... where was I, oh yeah..... after that first blood draw and ECG we had an hour to kill. It was beautiful and Lily was starving [insert background] MOM! I NEED YOUR HELP! I NEED YOU TO COME HERE. Ok where was I..... oh yeah we are outside and I am feeding Lily some applesauce and a banana while giving her her morning meds I was not allowed to give her until after that 1st blood draw. That hour goes fairly quick and we are back up there for more blood and another ECG. Can I just say I have the most awesome, patient little girl on the planet. Lily is just reason alone to live, she is my hero. Hungry, poked and with stickies all over here, she just chilled, whined a little, but she too appreciated the 70 degree sunshine. After the 2nd blood draw and ECG we were sent on our way for a 2 hour break and we went to the dreaded cafeteria. Have you pushed a wheelchair, stroller, whatever in a crowded, small cafeteria while trying to manage a tray, trying not to go over $4 which is all the cash you have on you? Not easy right? I got away with a soup, salad and tea. $5! Take debit? Yes. Thank God. Sigh. I brought Lily's lunch, FYI. She was not ignored. We ate, I was cool. Not all bummed like last time. I was a little stressed because Andrew called to say Andi was lethargic and had a 103 fever. I thought we'd end up in the hospital with her after I left this one with Lily [insert back ground] MOM! I NEED YOUR HELP, cough, cough, cough MOM!
Ok... eating in the crowded cafeteria. After my huge lunch [insert eye roll] we go outside and try to relax. In walks two little girls, I'd say maybe 6 and 7, maybe 8. And the younger one was staring. Hard. At Lily. Not looking politely which happens all the time and I expect it. This girl almost tripped while walking and staring. Totally rude. Just sickening. I looked at her first and gave her a fake smile, trying to get her to look away. But she persisted. I ignored her and she finally sat down with her family who thought staring is appropriate.
OMG I have been trying to write this for over an hour and Andi is just totally bugging. She is screaming. Sigh. Now she is on my lap. This is why I blog at work and at nap time.
Ok so annoying girl is eating lunch with her family and then proceeds to FEED PIGEONS! I am like a few feet away from them and what happens when you feed a pigeon or two? Oh about a thousand come down asking for some food to. Have I ever mentioned my dislike for pigeons, peacocks, pelicans, hell anything with wings that flies. It is a strange fear that take over my whole body. I am sitting there acting like it is cool, STARING hard at the nasty flying rats to see which way they are coming. She feeds them so more, dad says no and she throws more chips down. Then some one steps hard and they fly up, right over my head. In a crowd of strangers I scream, my heart is pounding and duck. Ok smile, laugh it off. I'm cool. Then she throws more damn chips down and they all come back. I am pissed by then and get up and fast and loud, give that little girl a look that will haunt her dreams every night and I pushed Lily away.
We go out front and chill for an hour and wait. She gets her blood drawn and one more ECG. We finally get home. Andi is the best I had seen her all week and I breathe a sigh of relief.
Then I watch a wasted two hours of American Idol. What is wrong with those people? Then off to bed.
Sigh. Sorry this sucked so much.
I pray my next post will be from a quiet place. Padded walls would be acceptable.

Little Miss Sunshine
**edited to update**
Little Miss Sunshine was exactly that when I returned. She was nice, she said that I get $200 (!) and because my stuff was so great that I get a gold card, so when I bring in clothes I get more than the average person back. I was excited! They took everything of mine and about half of Andrews. It was pretty sweet. So either she just wasn't a morning person, totally could be, or she judged me and was wrong. Either way the whole thing turned up. Glad I was nice the entire time. Could have been awkard had I not been when I left.
So like I mentioned before, our closet threw up. Everything is everywhere, Andrew and his friend who is out of work right now is being paid to help Andrew tile the closet, now bathroom and master bedroom. Not my idea of saving money if you ask me, but apparently no one did.
Anyway, we gutted our closet. I mean GUTTED! We went through all our clothes and put them in two piles, Ebay and charity. Well Ebay got waaay to much for me so then I made three piles, Ebay, charity, exchange store by work. I know I won't get half that I get on Ebay, but I didn't want to deal with all those people on Ebay. I just saved the good stuff (really good stuff) for Ebay. So I roll on up to the exchange place right at 10am. The gal working there obviously had been bitten by her pet snake that morning b/c I had to greet her with a warm "good morning!" as she growled back at me. I ask "are you taking men and women's clothing?" "Grumble" head nod was what I got. I say "ok let me get them out of my car" offering the happiest, cheesiest smile I could muster and go get half the clothes, I bring them in and she says "lay them at the first tile" I say, "wait I have more, these are just the men’s" I could hear her eyes roll at me. I go get my clothes and then come back in. Still smiling. She says in as few words as possible b/c God forbid her waste her breath on me "I need them all laid out and in one pile". I smile and say "ok" and get to work. I lay it all out nicely, thinking, "this isn't your fault, I just have to move on. I love you. I love the times we shared. We were good to me. Please don't be angry, see this as a chance to make someone else happy". I am pleasant in my own thoughts and nicely ask "would you like the men’s and women’s separate?" "GRRRRRRRRRROOOWWWWWLLLLLL" "Ok I will put them all together, can I come back for these later?" That must have been it for her, she looked at me like lady do you really think I am going to do this right now and have your happy ass watch me? I said "ok, I will be back" I finish putting my beautiful clothes in order and smile and said "bye" and she didn't even look my way. Totally ignored me.
Sheesh... maybe she should get rid of that snake.

Kim's Feeling Randy!!
So after a fun filled Saturday, we went to Salt Lake City Sunday afternoon.
Our flight was on time. Lily was happy. Things were great. Our Phx airport looked like Vegas or LA. So many pretty people, I felt like a sloth. I guess it was the pretty people who were invited to the events, but didn't get THE ticket so they went home on Sunday.
I still swear I saw Joel Madden, but Andrew says I did not.
We show up in SLC to a winter wonderland. The snow was falling, yet it wasn't as cold as Kentucky. It was nice actually. The mountains were gorgeous and Andrew wished we had stayed an extra day to get some snowboarding in.... then we got to learn the politics of Utah and wanted to go right back home.
We rolled up into our hotel at half time. I am not a huge football fan. I like football, but I hate watching it on tv. There are too many commercial breaks. But Super Bowl I like. I like the game and the commercials. I especially like the last quarter of the game. So it is half time, of Super Bowl playing in MY home state. I want to watch the game; Andrew wants to watch the game. We want to see the game. We'd like a beer as well as we watch the game. Is that so wrong? Isn't every other person in the United States of America doing just that? Beer and the game? Well apparently NOT in Utah. Our hotel was empty. Totally deserted! We are starving, we had peanuts in our belly. We go to the restaurant and ask if they have a TV. Nope. Ok let's go to the lounge. Sorry you can't come in here with your daughter? We can't sit at a table, order food and watch the game on your TV? Nope we couldn't. Feeling bad for the laws of their state, Utah ain't messing around with the whole "it takes a village" thing; they offer us the key to the top floors concierge suite were they had a couple crackers, some cheese that had been out since the game started and some Pepsi products.
Ok back to our room. Order room service pay $75 (!) for a grilled cheese, mac and cheese and fettuccini and 4 beers. Finally watched the 4th qtr in our room, and what a 4th qtr that was! It was awesome! Go Giants! I had tears in my eyes watching Peyton clapping for his brother. That was just so sweet! I know I am so full of estrogen.
So finally off to bed after House. Lily was on the pull out sofa and we were in the king bed. Lily was having one of those nights where she'd fall asleep and then wake up screaming. It happened three times so after the third screaming fit, I debated over it and gave it half a klonopin. Bad idea!
Come morning I fed her and bathed her half asleep. We got to the hospital and she was still asleep. We'd wake her and she'd be pissed. She didn't do much for the Dr. but it was a good apt. anyway. We just needed to get "in" with Shriner's and now we are. The Dr. was awesome and the whole place was very nice. She got some x-rays and they showed some curvature on her spine, but she thinks it will improve in therapy and no need for a brace yet. Her hips look great. We got hooked up with a place here to get her new AFO's and SMO's which is totally exciting, knowing here in AZ they'd rather eat off their own arms then give us some new anything. Then they also decided that they would get her a new chair, but that will have to be a one week process and we have to do it once again in SLC. The land of the beautiful, but ultra conservative (is anyone else running in these elections besides Mitt Romney? You'd never know if all you watched was local Utah news) (sorry not judging).
But getting a chair that we actually need, instead of what our state will allow here is worth it.
Getting back the airport was super fun! Listening to Andrew scream at the poor GPS girl is always a hoot. And it was super fun when we got an earlier flight, pre boarded for it and they put Lily's wheelchair in under the plane. We sat down and then the captain came on to tell us and the handful of others who came in from Denver that we had to sit there for 2 hours, b/c AZ was raining and full of "rich people with private jets that took priority", words of the Southwest Pilot, not mine. I didn't see him, but I can pretty much guarantee there was a birdie flashed or at least an eye roll with that statement. We were stuck on a plane that was not moving for 2 hours. Did I mention how crabby Lily was from the previous night’s klonopin dose? I ran off the plane at that news and left Andrew with Lily and snuck on a flight to LA and that is where I am writing from today. Well I did get me a Starbucks. Did I mention my inability to find one in that morning? Then I sat and held my crabby, then sleepy 46 lb daughter for the next 3 hours. What fun. Oh I did get to help the captain with an answer on his crossword puzzle. Super duper! At least I downloaded all the Samantha Who episodes on my Itouch and watched almost all of them. What a great show! I can't wait to see it when it starts back up. When these writers get off their asses and stop complaining. Do they think they are that important to leave so many other people jobless? I bet you I could find 100 new writers who would kill for an opportunity to write for a TV show and they would be just as good and promise not to go all union on us.
OOOHHHHH Kim is in for it today aren't I? First Utah, then Mitt and now Union.......

Add one more to the F card
So what a fun Saturday we had! We had a leak from the washer to our closet. Mold was in the walls, the carpet was soaked, it was a slow leak that we just noticed... oh my god! Nasty!
We are not organized in any way, and I mean ANY WAY. We took everything out of the closet, he ripped out the carpet, took out the wall, re drywalled, now starting to tile the floor. We had to pay for the tile and such which wasn't enough, but now Kim says we can have her tile she already has. I hope we can return the tile, but we still had to buy a tile cutter and supplies. Now we have to go to IKEA to get organized b/c I cannot go thru this again! At least it is a good way to get us to get in there and just extreme makeover the damn thing! Anyway, totally annoying, still a huge mess and we have to catch a flight to Salt Lake at 3pm today for Lily to go to Shriner's tomorrow. Sigh.. I hate leaving a cluster fluck... but what can I do?
Trying to clean up a bit, get Andi to my sisters and off.. I will catch you all on the flip side.
Oh and add a $130 boarding fee to that F card for Fiona..... sigh

F Card
Does everyone have a credit card that is only used for times that the only thing you can think or say is f#*k? I don't generally say that world aloud, and especially never in front of people unless I am A. Wasted or B. Pissed. But there are times in everyones life when an expense comes up and that is the only word that can sum up what they're feeling. I have one of those cards and it is up to $1400 and it really pisses me off because it is all F stuff.
As you all know we are saving up for a trip to NYC in the begining of June and also my very good friend I recently found out is getting married in Mexico in August. So we have two vacations that I do not want to miss and we need to save for. I am doing fabulous! Believe me credit card debt is no stranger to me. I used to rack of thousands in months on clothing. Seriously, I was crazy. We have had to refinance and take out a line of credit to pay for our outrageous spending habits, but we were out of debt and saving and people I have been doing great. I have not bought any thing I did not need. I needed jeans and went to Buckle and bought two pairs for what I would have spent on half of a pair of jeans at Nordstrom. I haven't bought a purse, perfume, make up, SHOES (!!!!!) in soooo long. I do have to do strange things to control my habit. I go online fill my cart up with tons of things I want and then close the browser. I do it at Gap, Shopbop, my Ebay watch list is enormous, but hey a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. I am doing good, and saving, I am doing awesome, we could go to NYC today and be ok. My problem is I have this $1400 debt that kills me. Wanna know what it is all from? New garage door and vet bills. Yep that is all it took to tally up $1400. I don't even want to get into it about the vet bills. It all started when we took Hailey and you all should remember how sick I was about that $500 bill. Then we got Fiona. Whom annoys me as any puppy does, but I love her. She is not going on
cra!gslist like I threatened, but she sure can rack up a bill. Every three weeks she needs shots and a check up and she has this stupid parisite we can't kill. I have to pay $20 to have her fecal checked, then pay $20 for the medicine, they say Hailey has to have it too, another $20 and then another $20 to check fecal 3 weeks later, then another $40 to treat both dogs for a parasite only one has and we can't get rid of. Sigh..... I should claim them as my dependents in 2008, they cost more than my girls do.
So last night Andrew went to the store and got milk and yogurt drinks and picked up fixings for chili then he goes to the freezer and says "we don't have ground beef?" I say "we have ground turkey", he as you all could probably suspect says "why the hell do we have ground turkey" and I said, "because I like it" he says all bummed "I really wanted to make chili" as you all probably know my advice to make it with ground turkey was politely [insert eye roll] turned down. I remembered I had to go pay $40 and pick up medicine for two dogs that only one dog needed and I told him I could stop at the store for him. He requests two lbs of ground beef and I come home with one and a new US Weekly and People. He looks at his one lb of ground beef and two magazines and says "I asked for two", I say "we're saving money, you don't need two" he then looks at the magazines and raises his eye brows and I know what he is saying with out saying a word and I say, "They are way more important than your second lb of heart attack!" he rolls his eyes and goes on to make the best chili I have ever tasted, Andi was licking her bowl, she never touches what I make.

Simple Annoyances
I was getting gas this morning, I put in my card, I took off my gas cap, choose the gas of my choice and put the thingy in my thingy. I get back in my car because it is cold. I know, I just bragged about our weather, but it was 44 degrees and all I had on was a tank top and sweater over it, well jeans of course... don't get smart. One of my favorite new songs comes on and I sit in the warm car singing "looking at you thru the glass" and I look at the pump and it has stopped on $2... what? I go out there start to pump again and put it on the little kick stand and it goes off. I say "are you serious?" I try it again, and again, and again and I said a few other choice words to let the gas pump know I was unhappy with his choice this morning and I stood there and pumped my gas. I had to stand there improperly dressed in 44 degree weather holding the pump, pumping. My hands felt arthritic and I was pissed b/c I wanted to continue singing my song. Sigh....
But I know you are all feeling incredibly sorry for my unfair life, but no worries a lady in line in front of me at Starbucks left her measly $0.60 left on her gift card for the next person in line. I say measly with an eye roll, b/c I am the lady who got made fun of by the way for using my $0.18 gift card. And yes they did laugh, she showed the other guy my receipt with the $0.18 and they giggled. Do I care? Nope! So of course $.60 off a ridiculously priced coffee did make my day, THEN I got the long receipt. I don't know about you all, but I am that person who actually calls and does that survey in hopes for that $1000. It has never happened yet, but you never know.
So after a kick the gas pump morning, Starbucks surely brightened my day.
MIL's last day is today, she told Andrew and I to go out tonight and even stay in a hotel, you should have seen Andrew's eyes light up. Unfortunately, remember all that bragging about AZ in the winter? Well hotel people know that and you can't get a decent place for under $200 for a night. So we will just go to a nice dinner and home tonight. Bummer that would have been fun. Don't know if I will see Andrew's eyes light up like that again. He looked like a puppy with some bacon wagged in front of his face.
Oh don't worry about him, he gets to go to Disney Princesses' on Ice on Sunday. What a lucky guy. That totally beats hot vacation sex any day.

I need to vent once again
So I once again feel the need to vent!
Ok so you all know I am in this Christmas play for church and my time has been devoted to this. I really enjoy this and feel I am not too bad at it either. This is a huge commitment that I made to the cast and a commitment my husband made to me to watch the girls. Everything has been going well except for a few sighs and whines from Andrew, it has been working out well for all of us. Dun Dun Dun, until this week. So this Thursday is final dress rehearsal. The biggest, most important practice of all the practices, missing dress rehearsal is like missing the actual performance. So Andrew says, "my company's Christmas party is next Thursday" (said last week) "WHAT?!” I said "are you kidding me?!" This isn't Andrew's fault really, he has a company with a business partner and his partner never planned this with Andrew, he just told him the date but what I am mad at Andrew for is that he never stood up to him. He should have said "I am sorry but that won't work", but he just said "well thanks for telling me" but I don't think the passive aggressive approach is working. It wouldn't be a big deal except for our store has their invite only special Christmas sale that night which means my mom or sister cannot watch the girls. I have to ask my niece but I know that she should be helping at the store as well. It just really frustrates me, I own a company with my mom and sister and we never make decisions without each other. That is how a partnership works. I am so annoyed.
A funny side note. One of our employees is this Mexican guy with a very heavy accent and just adorable, I mean the guy looks like he walked off a Abercrombie and Fitch bag. I have for years thought he was cute and named him Cute Victor. Like when someone says "did you get Victor's timecard?" I say "which Victor? Victor or Cute Victor?" Well he knows I named him that and every time he comes into the office he says a quick hi to me and walks away real fast, I think he is scared of me. I am not going to seduce him; I just think he is nice to look at. I just think it is funny b/c most of my life I am hit on unwantedly and this guy is afraid of me. Funny.

My rant for today
So I need to vent about something really annoying that is happening here at work but it is happening all over.
I understand people feeling the need to be aggressive for money. I am not like that but I understand the mind set. I know that there will always be sales people and inventors and people always trying to get my money but this is what I cannot stand...
Lawyers seeking to represent people, not the other way around. I think the term is ambulance chaser. I do not have any thing against lawyers, one of my favorite people on this planet is one and I respect her totally but I know she doesn't walk onto a crime scene and ask the murderer if he needs a lawyer.
My dad is co-owner of a large paint company in AZ. We have close to 400 employees and I do payroll for the company.
Being in AZ and especially in construction we have about 80% or more Hispanics work for us but these guys get paid and well. Not only do they get paid well for their hard work, our company is one of the few that offers the best health insurance and a 401k plan. I am not sure if any of you are familiar with construction but to offer those benefits are huge! So I am just saying that in no way does our company use our employees or take advantage of them like they are working in a sweat shop. But that didn't stop some California law firm to walk on our job site, ask these guys how they are being paid (piece work) and they say you can sue b/c they should be getting paid time and a half. Piece work (paid by job, not hourly) is not illegal but these lawyers made our guys think they are being shorted. It isn't our guys fault, they hardly speak English, they don't know what to believe, and they think every company offers health insurance and a 401k plan. Boy will they be surprised when they go and work for someone else. Anyway I was going thru records and the funny thing is at piece work the main guy in the law suite got paid more than he would have at hourly with overtime so now we can say he owes us. In the long run nothing will happen but I will have a lot of extra work to do and in the end only the lawyers will get paid, which I suppose is what they want.
Just like the two black guys that got pulled over here in AZ a few weeks ago (it was national news) the cop asked them to rap to get out of the ticket. Now of course lawyers are all over these guys saying they have a case. So stupid.

Employee of the Week!
Whew what a day! So I was at the store visiting my sister who works there every day (http://closetalamode.com) and we were all keeping an eye on this crack head and yes she was on crack. She was all over the place, making big messes and just seemed like she was on fast forward. They kept asking what things cost on sale and were just freaking on crack. Well I had to come back to my other job and finish payroll (they are less than a mile a part) and I realized I forgot to say goodbye to my cousin Jody so I walk back in and see this crack head bending over shoving clothes down her pants. Now I have always wondered how I would handle that type of situation b/c I am NOT good with confrontation but I just marched over to her with out even thinking and said “excuse me” and boy was I ever pissed! She just started pulling the stuff back out of her jeans and said she was going to try them on. (Yeah and I am Tina Turner) So I just said “no” and stood there with my arms crossed and she said “I have to go” and I said “yes”. She tells her crack head friend (the one at the register asking a million questions to take the attention off her friend) that “we have to go now” and I just watch her go (keep in mind, I was holding my purse and drink in my hand while all this went down).UGH I was so mad, I was shaking. I was shaking up to a half hour later! I was just so pissed. I hate crack heads! Hate them, hate them! My mom said that girl knew Bryan (my brother, who happens to hang with crack heads) and she said she knew we owned the store (implying why she would steal from me?) and I said “mom, she would have stolen from her own mother”. I just hate people who let a substance take over their life. They are a waste of flesh; in fact in the words on Shirley McClain “they are the boils on the butt of humanity” said in a southern accent. Two points if you can comment me with the movie that came from. Two points will get you nothing but praise from me “employee of the week” with the mad cat like skills in catching a thief.

Models?
So if you found me, it is b/c I wanted to be found. That is the only way about it.
So I am not a snob or anything but I was a fashion model for 10 years. I walked some big runways and was in some major magazines. I do not look down on others who are not models, not in anyway. I don't look down on anyone (on purpose anyway, I am almost 6' tall) but there is one species that annoys me and that is wanna be models who think highly of themself. Hell, I was a big fashion model and didn't think highly of myself, the exact opposite so seeing someone who shouldn't think highly of themself do so annoys the hell out of me.
So I had a "model" come into Closet a la mode (our store) for a fitting for a charity fashion show and since she was the last one we were down to the last dress that all the other wanna be models didn't like. I am not surprised it is a modest dress but very fashionable but these aren't fashion models, these are "standing next to a car in a swimsuit models". I was prepared for her to not like the dress, I was not prepared for her to try it on and walk out like she was wearing fire. I said I will find you something else and I see a very figure flattering sexy dress that I knew would be right up her alley and what did she say when I brought it out? "Oh yes these dresses look good on me, they compliment my long legs" I almost laughed out loud and just agreed as I looked down on her, literally. I am 6' with 42" legs and she was 5'7" and who knows how "long" her legs were. I was just so funny how she was bragging about her legs to me. Westwood class of 1997 Best Legs. Oh yes that title will be on my headstone.
I remember in my model days you wore what they gave you and complimented it and acted like it was the prettiest thing that ever hit your body. I was astonished and taken back but whatever, my day is over. Thank God for my blog that I can relive my glory days at and not look too much like an stuck up asshole.
